Trends of 2015 Part 1: Floppy Hat

The Floppy Hat

One of my personal favorite trends of 2015 so far is the Floppy Hat. Not only does it dress up a casual outfit nicely, it can also easily be paired with a dress, making it look like you’re dressed up but relaxed at the same time.

You can match the color of your hat to your top or pants or just make it a great accent color to the rest of your outfit. You can’t go wrong with black, tan, or red floppy hats. A big white floppy hat goes great with a swimsuit when you’re laying out this summer. (Sunglasses also look great with floppy hats.) The most common hairstyle with a floppy hat is long loose curls or waves, but try it with a chunky braid or fishtail to shake it up a bit!
